REVIEWER POLICY
SWARNRUDRA: An International Multidisciplinary Journal of Academic Research recognizes the vital role of reviewers in maintaining the quality, credibility, and academic integrity of scholarly publishing. The journal follows a fair, confidential, and objective peer-review process to ensure that only high-quality, original, and academically significant research is published.
Reviewers are expected to evaluate submitted manuscripts professionally, ethically, and impartially based on the originality, relevance, research methodology, clarity, academic contribution, and overall scholarly value of the manuscript. The review process is conducted with strict confidentiality to protect the integrity of both authors and reviewers.
Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, and professional conduct throughout the review process. They should ensure that the evaluation of manuscripts is conducted fairly, confidentially, and without any discrimination based on nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, or personal beliefs. Reviewers must avoid using unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for personal research or professional advantage.
The journal expects reviewers to:
- Provide constructive, unbiased, and scholarly feedback
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively without personal bias
- Maintain confidentiality of all submitted research materials
- Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors
- Inform the editorial board about any suspected plagiarism or ethical concerns
- Complete the review process within the assigned timeframe
- Avoid conflicts of interest related to the manuscript or authors
Reviewers should ensure that their comments and recommendations contribute positively to improving the academic quality and clarity of the manuscript. Personal criticism of authors is considered inappropriate and unacceptable.
The editorial board carefully considers reviewers’ comments and recommendations while making final publication decisions. However, the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript remains solely with the editorial board of the journal.
